yes sir well ok it first started when a couple hoses broke i fixed them and put a new thermostat then doing that i broke a sencer then it was over heating figured out it was a water pump so i fixed that but had to take the timing belt off an like a dum ass didnt mark it so put it all back together and broke a valve due to bad timing now im stuck with the decision weather to fix or sell

You probably did more damage than just a bent valve unfortunately.

These are interference motors, meaning that the pistons and valves collide when not timed properly, as you already know, Chances are you probably did more damage than just a bent valve, main barrens like to go once they whack the valves... If I was you, I'd just do an engine swap and pick up a used 4G63T and call it day... If you need any help let us know... You may get lucky and can just get away with replacing the head out of a junkyard...

how do you know you bent you valves btw? if you caught it quick, you might have lucked out, have you tried putting the car back in timing and seeing if it runs?

as much as i dont like to see 1st gens die, im going to have to agree with martini. but just like he said, if you catch it quick enough, i8ts possible that nothing happened. re-time the motor and go from there

not happining not fixable when you turn the key it jams i took the valve cover off an peeked down #1 piston an there a rod of sorts jaming the piston so im perdy sure its fucked but 400 obo its gone sunday ether way
