lol it was just a joke broski. im not selling my 2g till after winter. im sure i can find some poor sap to buy it, plus i would never sell it to you for the sole fact that it needs so much body work. the quaters are basically rotted out.

That was my initial thought. I just figured a way around that if I do rear wheel. Double triangulated 4-link rear. That way I can put the entire weight of the car on the rear wheels. The only thing I have reserves about when it comes to all wheel is that with a longitudinally mounted v-6, where is the front diff and propeller shafts going to go in a car with that little ground clearance? I am attempting to keep a stock appearance. Well, that is if I ever get one lmao...

The fab work I am ready for. The motor is something I put a little thought into and the 6g73 had crossed my mind. It is all depending upon finding a longitudinal transmission to bolt to a transverse styled engine. There are are some that share the bolt pattern, but they are mainly in Dakota's and stuff like that. But then I need to find a rear wheel drive only as I decided to stick away from the all wheel thing. At least for the time being, though that may change when I actually get one and I am staring the frame clearance right in the face.

I already know that I am going to be modifying or flat out constructing a frame to assist with mounting the rear suspension and to help with twist resistance. The rest, for right now is just an idea I have been toying with. Nothing will be reality until I get a car and start cutting and welding.

Well i know for a fact that they make a bracket to bolt a turbo350 trans to a 4g63t. I dont know if they make one for 6cyl vehicles but i would check that out. As for the frame, id go tube steel all the way

I am thinking either tube or boxed. You can get rectangular boxed steel that will tuck nice and neat. Then there is no need to weld additional flat tabs to mount it to the unibody. Ah well, like I said though, it is still a pipe dream until I get whatever it is that I start with. First things first though... gotta get the Monte out of the garage.
